The Immune Tolerance Network (ITN) is retiring ITN BioShare. ITN’s inventory of clinical trial biospecimens is now available through ITN TrialShare. Now that ITN’s biorepository is accessible through TrialShare, all web traffic to BioShare will redirect to www.ITNTrialShare.org.
Launched in November of 2010, BioShare was ITN’s initial interface for sharing clinical samples collected from ITN trials with the scientific community. Since this first initiative to enhance clinical trial sample sharing, ITN developed and launched TrialShare, a global solution to clinical trial data and sample sharing. TrialShare not only contains the information about ITN clinical samples that was previously available through BioShare, including important trial information and sample availability, but also contains the data and analysis code underlying ITN-published manuscripts. ITN shares both clinical trials data and sample information through ITN TrialShare with the goal of promoting transparency, scientific collaboration and more rapid advancement of research toward achieving immune tolerance therapies.
